Flexible Booking Policy & Contractual Agreement
We are, at our discretion, waiving our normal cancellation terms and offering increased flexibility should your trip be unable to proceed for reasons outside of your control in your destination.
You may cancel your booking up to 60 days before your departure at our discretion, for reasons outside of your control in your travel destination. If you cancel, you will receive a credit toward future travel; that credit is non-transferable and non-refundable and will be applied as an offset to the new booking cost.
If your departure date is postponed or a replacement trip is booked, cancellation terms as applicable at that time will then apply. Where suppliers do not allow postponement or a refund, we will pass on charges where they are applied as well as any costs incurred by The Lombok Travel until the date of cancellation.
Any credit for future travel must be applied to a new booking within 12 months from the date of issue for travel within 12 months of the date on which the new booking is made.

You may postpone your booking up to 21 days before departure, for reasons outside of your control at home or in your travel destination. All other standard terms and conditions apply to the booking and normal cancellation terms will apply to the new booking date. Where suppliers do not allow free-of-charge postponement, we will pass on charges where they are applied. Within 21 days of travel, normal terms and conditions apply.
Your contract is with The Lombok Travel. We draw your attention to the following terms and conditions, which cover all brochures, correspondence, and all bookings made with us. Any contract with us is subject to these terms and conditions from which no person has the authority to depart. By asking us to confirm your booking you are accepting the terms and conditions laid out below.
The Lombok Travel will create a custom travel itinerary to suit your personal needs. A binding contract comes into existence between us upon the receipt of any monetary payment (either as a partial payment or in full) for that itinerary.
If booking more than 90 days in advance, we require a deposit of 25% at the time of booking confirmation. The remaining balance is to be paid 90 days prior to the departure date. If booking within 90 days, full payment is due immediately.
We require you to purchase comprehensive travel insurance. You must be satisfied that your insurance fully covers all your personal requirements including pre-existing medical conditions, cancellation charges, medical expenses, and repatriation.
The price of your itinerary will be based on known costs at the date of issue. We reserve the right to change prices from time to time. Prices include local taxes estimated at the date of publication. After a Confirmation Invoice has been sent, we reserve the right to add a supplement to your travel prices should our costs of supplying your travel increase due to government action, fuel surcharges, or changes in VAT.
You agree that The Lombok Travel's liability to you will never be greater than the amount spent on the trip. You understand and accept that our liability for loss and any other monetary claims/damages will be limited to no more than the money spent by you with us.
You recognize that luxury adventure travel contains inherent risks. You accept these risks and release us from liability for any loss, damage, or injury resulting from negligence or the willful conduct of third parties (including independent contractors such as drivers or guides).
The above booking terms and conditions together with all correspondence form part of your contract with us. This contract and any matters arising from it shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Indonesia.
If you have a problem during your travel, please inform the relevant organizer (camp/hotel manager/service provider) immediately. If your problem cannot be resolved locally you must send full details to us in writing within 28 days of your return.
